Oh children of Israel! You remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and indeed, I have preferred you over the rest of the worlds.
This verse and the next verse are repeated in verses 2: 122 and 123. The blessings that the Lord bestowed upon the Children of Israel are explained in the following verses. Not only the Children of Israel but the children of Adam are also excelled by the blessings of the Lord as told in verse 17: 70. Since half of the 25 Prophets mentioned in the Book including Messenger Moses and Jesus who belonged to ‘Ulul Azm’ (Messengers having braced confidence) came from Children of Israel. The Prophet Suleiman was given such prowess, splendor, dominion which was not given to anyone else in the world. The three pairs of both father and son as Prophets came among them. Thus, before the deputation of Messenger Muhammad, the leadership of the world was in the hands of the Children of Israel.
Today other people belonging to Messenger’s community such as Jains, Buddhas, Hindus, Jews, and Christians are not reading these verses, but Fujjar are only reading these verses in Arabic Quran. But by hiding and rejecting the Best Interpretation of Lord’s Book Adhikr, they have become the worst among thousand communities of Lord’s creatures as told in verses 8: 22. The Fujjar are in the worst place and are the most strayed people as told in verses 25: 33-34. They are called the worst creatures in the Land in verse 98: 6. See explanation 2: 62.
